Our client is a global provider of electronic and digital device services. • Drive the month-end close process, replacing manual, spreadsheet-heavy workflows with automated, scalable processes
  • Partner with leadership on the transition to a new ERP system and broader technology modernization efforts
  • Establish and maintain accounting controls and procedures in compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and SEC requirements
  • Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements, along with analysis of assets, liabilities, cash position, and other key financial results
  • Manage the annual audit process and implement recommendations to strengthen controls
  • Document policies and procedures to support audit readiness and internal controls
  • Identify and lead opportunities to bring automation and AI into accounting workflows
  • Oversee tax processes and compliance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and business leaders to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy
  • Manage performance, training, and development for the accounting team
  • Take on additional department leadership responsibilities, including backfilling a retiring accounting manager role over time
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • CPA required
  • 4+ years of experience managing an accounting or billing team
  • Big 4 or public accounting background preferred
  • Experience with ERP systems and system implementations; familiarity with Great Plains a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
  • Demonstrated success driving process improvement and automation initiatives
  • Comfortable operating independently with limited day-to-day oversight
Working Conditions
  • Primarily warehouse-based work environment (not always climate-controlled)
  • Occasional standing, crouching, and stooping; frequent sitting, reaching, and twisting
  • Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs
