Job summary

Jobot is seeking a hands-on finance leader to oversee accounting, billing, revenue cycle, payroll, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, KPIs, and financial operations for a well-established nonprofit healthcare organization in Covington, TN. The role reports directly to the CEO and Board of Directors and leads a small team across accounting, AR, billing, payroll, and finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5–8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience required.
• Healthcare, nonprofit, multi-location, billing, reimbursement, revenue cycle, or payer revenue experience strongly preferred.
• CPA, CMA, CFA, or master’s degree is a plus.
• Strong Excel, systems, reporting, and analytical skills.
• Ability to lead teams, improve processes, and partner with executive leadership.
• Stable work history preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, billing, payroll, AR, revenue cycle, and financial operations.
• Lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, KPIs, and variance analysis.
• Prepare financial statements and present reporting to leadership and the Board.
• Supervise a small team across finance, billing, payroll, AR, and accounting.
• Partner with the CEO and leadership team on strategy, process improvement, and financial decision‑making.
• Monitor billing, reimbursement, payer revenue, claims, collections, and revenue stream performance.
• Work with outside CPA firm on audit preparation and compliance.
• Create and improve workflows, SOPs, dashboards, reporting, and internal controls.
• Support vendor, payer, insurance, and partner negotiations as needed.
