Leoforce is seeking a Controller in Cleveland, OH to oversee accounting and HR functions, reporting to the CEO. The role requires leadership across the accounting team and hands-on management of monthly close, payroll, and vendor contracts.

You will partner with the CEO on pricing, budgets, and financial controls while ensuring accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance. This in-person position offers growth opportunities in a privately held AV services company.

• Experience leading accounting and HR functions within one organization.
• Proficient with QuickBooks Enterprise and QuickBooks Online.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Contract review and payroll management experience.

Job Details

Job Summary: The Controller will oversee the accounting and HR functions, reporting to the CEO.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Oversee full cycle accounting, ensuring timely and accurate month-end close
• AP, AR, Payroll, GL
• Manage and train accounting department
• Manage cash flow, ensuring organizational needs are met
• Oversee purchasing and payroll activities
• Work with CEO to ensure contracts and pricing meet company standards
• Drafting and management of operational and project budgets and forecasts
• Financial reporting including balance sheet, operating costs, etc
• Maintain accounting and documentations systems - QuickBooks
• Lead audit/finance committee
• Monitor banking information
• Inventory and fixed asset accounting
• Manage vendor pricing and contracts
• HR Management:
• Maintain insurance and health care coverage plans
• Compensation analysis
• Payroll oversight
• Recruiting oversight
• Employee relations

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience leading Accounting + HR functions within 1 organization
• QuickBooks Enterprise and Online
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Contract review
• Payroll management
