Our client is a well-established, profitable construction company generating approximately $40 million in annual revenue. They are seeking an experienced Controller with a strong construction accounting background to oversee accounting operations, manage support staff, and provide financial oversight. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who can step in, take ownership, and hit the ground running.

What You'll Do:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close.
• Prepare and review financial statements, account reconciliations, and management reports
• Oversee construction accounting functions, including job costing, project financials, and cash flow management.
• Manage and support accounting staff, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
• Partner with leadership to monitor financial performance, improve processes, and support business decisions.

What You'll Need:

• Previous experience in a Controller or similar accounting leadership role.
• Strong construction accounting experience, including job costing and project financials.
• Demonstrated experience managing and supervising accounting support staff.
• Solid understanding of financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and month-end close.
• Self-motivated, hands-on professional who can take ownership and make an immediate impact.
