Key Responsibilities For The Controller
- Lead accounting team and oversee financial reporting activities.
- Manage cost accounting, inventory tracking, reconciliations, and cost allocations.
- Analyze financial and operational results, including forecasting and variance analysis.
- Partner with operations leadership on budgeting, planning, and business initiatives.
- Develop and enhance ERP reporting, dashboards, and financial analytics.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements.
Qualifications For The Controller
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of accounting or finance experience in agriculture, manufacturing, or another inventory-intensive industry.
- Strong inventory accounting and inventory reconciliation experience.
- Cost accounting experience including allocations, forecasting, and cost analysis.
- Experience leading and developing accounting staff.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.
