Job summary

Tarvos Talent is helping a leading Austin-based commercial real estate private equity firm find a Controller to oversee accounting and financial operations across a complex, multi-entity portfolio.

This hands-on role offers exposure to real estate, private equity, capital structures, and investment reporting. You will lead month-end close, ensure accuracy, and partner with the CFO and auditors in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Big 4/public accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Private equity, fund accounting, or investment management experience highly preferred.
• Real estate accounting experience is a plus.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting and complex organizational structures.
• CPA preferred.
