Job summary

CFS is seeking a Controller to serve as the financial leader for a growing, project-based organization with in-house design, fabrication, installation, and maintenance capabilities. You will own budgeting, forecasting, job costing, and project financial analysis, directly impacting profitability by partnering with executives and operations.

You will lead the accounting team, strengthen controls, and drive reporting improvements in a collaborative, down-to-earth culture that values safety,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • 10+ years experience preferably in manufacturing, construction or distribution environment.
  • Management experience highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, WIP reporting, job costing, and project financial analysis as the Controller.
  • Oversee the daily accounting function, month-end close, reconciliations, cash flow, and financial reporting.
  • Partner with project managers and operational leaders to analyze project performance, identify trends, and improve profitability.
  • Strengthen accounting processes, internal controls, systems, and reporting while driving continuous improvement.
  • Support executive leadership with financial strategy, planning, cash flow management, and business decision-making.
