Job summary

Inmar in Libertyville, IL, is seeking a Controlled Substance Material Handler to support the processing of returned/recalled items in a warehouse setting. Under supervision, you will follow SOPs and maintain safety as you handle mixed items, including potential controlled substances.

You will lift and move boxes to scanning lines, verify RA paperwork, prepare items for scanning, and palletize finished totes for storage. If certified, operate a forklift and keep a clean, compliant workspace.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, or 2 years’ warehouse/production experience.
• Follow standard operating and safety procedures.
• Work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Push a cart or hand truck up to 100 yards; use a pallet jack.
• Grasp and use box cutters and seal zip-lock bags.
• Work under time pressure and meet production goals; overtime as needed.
• Handle hazardous waste materials with safety measures.

Responsibilities

• Lift and move boxes to/from scanning lines.
• Open boxes of returned/recalled items; may contain controlled substances.
• Visually match RA information to paperwork and items to verify.
• Follow instructions for discrepancies.
• Prepare paperwork for scanning; enter information into system.
• Place items into totes; prepare RA and tote placards for scanning.
• After scanning, pallet totes and label for storage; move pallets as directed.
• Stock empty totes at scanning lines and remove trash; maintain clean area.
• Operate forklift for movement on processing floor if certified.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
