Job summary

Bayer's Crop Science division in Chesterfield, MO, seeks a Controlled Environment Systems Reliability Coordinator to enhance reliability, readiness, and capacity of growth environments used for research, seed production, and phenotyping.

You will ensure spaces are user-ready, coordinate irrigation, fertigation, IPM, chemical management, and sensor checks, and partner with planners and researchers to improve throughput and data confidence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in a complex environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Improve readiness and reliability of controlled environment systems.
• Coordinate room readiness, sanitation readiness, scouting readiness, layout readiness, and space turnover checks.
• Partner with planners, growers, and research partners to improve capacity utilization and validate CE capacity actuals.
• Own and coordinate irrigation and fertigation readiness, including inventory and maintenance.
• Support IPM to maintain room readiness and rapid turnover.
• Manage chemical/fertilizer storage, labeling, and safety compliance.
• Perform routine inspections of Dosatrons, irrigation parts, and facility conditions.
• Coordinate sensor reliability checks and data confidence across systems.
