Job summary

Bayer Crop Science is seeking a Controlled Environment Facilities Coordinator in Missouri to ensure greenhouses, growth chambers, and CE infrastructure operate reliably to support research, seed production, phenotyping, and product development.

The role acts as the primary liaison between research teams, utilities, and facility operations, coordinating maintenance, outages, and infrastructure upgrades to improve efficiency and reduce disruptions.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s degree and knowledge of CE infrastructure and utilities.
• Experience coordinating contractors, vendors and maintenance programs.
• Strong planning, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate greenhouse, growth chamber, and CE facility operations to support research and product development.
• Serve as liaison between research teams, utilities, contractors and facility operations.
• Plan maintenance, outages, access, and infrastructure activities to minimize disruption.
• Support facility improvement projects from planning through implementation.
• Monitor facility performance and drive timely issue resolution and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate vendor and contractor activities including maintenance, service visits, inspections, audits.
• Ensure compliance with safety, access controls, training standards and site procedures.
• Communicate project status, impacts, priorities, and risks to stakeholders.
