Job summary

Bayer CropScience Limited in Chesterfield, Missouri, is seeking a CE Systems Reliability Coordinator to improve readiness and capacity utilization of controlled environment systems supporting research, seed production, and product development. You will ensure user-ready spaces before material enters the systems and coordinate irrigation, fertigation, and IPM activities with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in controlled environment, greenhouse, agricultural operations, laboratory operations, facilities coordination, or another technical operations environment.
• Working knowledge of irrigation/fertigation, environmental controls, sensors, sanitation workflows, chemical storage, and routine operational inspections.
• Ability to coordinate routine operational systems, vendors or service providers, supplies, inspections, and follow-up actions in a complex technical environment.

Responsibilities

• Improve operational readiness, continuity, and capacity utilization of controlled environment systems.
• Coordinate room readiness, sanitation readiness, scouting readiness, layout readiness, and space turnover checks.
• Partner with planners, growers, and research partners to improve capacity utilization and enforce schedules.
• Own and coordinate irrigation and fertigation readiness, including inventory and maintenance.
• Support IPM activities to maintain room readiness for rapid turnover.
• Maintain chemical and fertilizer management through barcode inventory updates and labeling.
• Perform routine inspections of Dosatrons, irrigation parts, and facility conditions.
• Communicate readiness status and risks to stakeholders with clear accountability.
• Identify recurring failure points and opportunities to improve workflows.
