Industrial Valve Sales and Service is seeking a skilled Control Valve Technician for its Mobile, AL location. The role includes shop and field work on control valve repairs, with emphasis on safety, quality procedures, and hands-on mechanical tasks.

The ideal candidate will read measuring devices, perform cleaning, blasting and painting, mentor junior staff, and document job data, while maintaining a safe, organized work area and operating typical shop equipment.

Qualifications

• 5 years or more control valve industrial experience.

Responsibilities

• Follows safety and quality procedures.
• Must be able to read measuring/scaling devices.
• Control Valve tech responsibilities.
• Cleaning, blasting, and painting valve components.
• Support Control Valve Tech by mentoring.
• Operate equipment (overhead hoist, blaster, parts washer, torch, etc.).
• Enjoy doing mechanical work.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Maintain equipment in area, as required.
• May be required to help in field assignments.
• Required to climb and work at various elevations depending on job scope.
• Must be able to operate motor vehicle.
• Must have a safety awareness in the industrial workplace.
• Must be able to document and enter job data.
