Industrial Valve Sales and Service LLC in Mobile, AL is seeking a talented Control Valve Technician for shop and field work focused on control valve repairs. You will follow safety procedures and read measuring devices while maintaining and repairing valve components.

The role requires 5+ years of industrial experience with valves, a high school diploma or GED, and preferred OSHA training or TWIC credentials. Field support and occasional on-site work are part of the duties.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current Basic OSHA Safety Training (preferred).
• Job specific degree and/or certification (preferred).
• Current or up-to-date TWIC (preferred).
• 5 years or more control valve industrial experience.

Responsabilidades

• Follows safety and quality procedures.
• Must be able to read measuring/scaling devices.
• Control Valve Tech responsibilities.
• Cleaning, blasting, and painting valve components.
• Support Control Valve Tech by mentoring.
• Operate equipment (overhead hoist, blaster, parts washer, torch, etc.).
• Enjoy doing mechanical work.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Maintain equipment in area, as required.
• May be required to help in field assignments.
• Required to climb and work at various elevations depending on job scope.
• Must be able to operate motor vehicle.
• Must have a safety awareness in the industrial workplace.
• Must be able to document and enter job data.
