Job summary

Flowserve US Inc is seeking a Control Valve Specialist Engineer in Utah. The role centers on control valve design and related components for engineered-to-order projects, with exposure to extreme conditions and involvement from concept through testing.

You will lead design, draw BOMs, perform analyses and support assembly/testing, while collaborating with commercial teams to ensure proper sizing and specification for high-energy valve projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience leading teams and mentoring engineers.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD and engineering analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Design of Blast Tubes, Impingement Blocks and Choke Tubes for HPAL letdown.
• Design of severe service valve trim for high velocity/noise.
• Design of control valve trim for high-pressure letdown.
• Select and develop materials for corrosive/erosive applications.
• Collaborate with supply chain to develop critical components.
• Lead sustaining engineering projects to improve cost/efficiency.
• Create designs, drawings, BOMs and analyses throughout development.
