Job summary

Cencora is seeking a facilities maintenance professional to support its distribution services in the US (AmerisourceBergen). This role runs Sunday through Thursday, 4:00 pm to close, with a pay rate of $32.00–$37.00 per hour, including shift differential, plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

Key responsibilities include coordinating task sequencing and resources, monitoring performance, identifying trends, enforcing safety and installation standards, troubleshooting complex issues, and training team

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or related field.
• High School Diploma/GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Certification in maintenance or related area preferred.

• Monitors installation performance and system outputs to identify trends and initiate corrective actions.
• Evaluates technical discrepancies and documentation gaps to improve controls and reduce recurrence.

• Instructs team members on installation practices and technical standards to improve execution quality and continuity.

Job Details

This role is in support of Cencora’s distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business.

Shift: Sunday through Thursday; 4:00pm until close

Pay Rate: $32.00 - $37.00 per hour, including shift differential ( depending on experience)

Sign-on Bonus: $2000.00

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates task sequencing and resource allocation to optimize workflow efficiency and meet service targets.
• Monitors installation performance and system outputs to identify trends and initiate corrective actions.
• Evaluates technical discrepancies and documentation gaps to improve controls and reduce recurrence.
• Facilitates adherence to installation procedures and safety standards across operations.
• Resolves complex technical issues using structured troubleshooting methods and escalates when required.
• Instructs team members on installation practices and technical standards to improve execution quality and continuity.

Education:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• Associate’s degree in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, electronics, mechanical systems, facilities maintenance, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.

Work Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, or a related field required.

Certifications:

• Certification in maintenance, technical operations, or equipment handling, or equivalent preferred.
