University Health in San Antonio seeks a highly skilled technician to install, operate, and maintain electric, electronic, direct digital and pneumatic controls for HVAC and Building Automation Systems. You will monitor and repair controls to ensure efficient plant operation across facilities.

Requires a high school diploma, HVAC schooling, and experience with Honeywell and Johnson controls in large facilities. Associates degree in Electronics preferred.

Competenze

• Three years of experience in pneumatic, electronic and electro-mechanical controls maintenance and repair.
• One year of HVAC schooling required.
• Five years’ experience repairing Honeywell and Johnson controls or other HVAC controls in large facilities.

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

To provide highly technical skills in the construction, installation, operation and maintenance of electric, electronic, direct digital and pneumatic controls associated with HVAC and Building Automation Systems. Monitors, synchronizes, repairs and maintains the controlling mechanism required for efficient operation of Plant Engineering equipment throughout the facilities of University Health. Complies with UHand departmental policies and procedures.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. Associates degree in Electronics is preferred. Three years’ experience in Pneumatic, Electronic and Electro-Mechanical Controls Maintenance and Repair is preferred including one year of HVAC schooling required. Five years’ experience in repairing Honeywell and Johnson and/or other HVAC controls in large facilities is preferred.
