Job summary

RG&T Solutions in the United States is seeking an Electrical Technician to support automated equipment in a distribution center, diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical issues. Responsibilities include reading schematics and wiring diagrams, ladder logic PLCs/HMI setups, testing and replacing electrical components up to 600 volts, and managing parts inventory.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of related experience with a strong electrical background.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Proficient in PLC programming and ladder logic.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work extended hours and perform multi-trade tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting automated systems including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and water treatment components.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, PLC ladder logic, and load or configure PLCs and HMIs.
• Perform testing, repair, and replacement of electrical systems up to 600 volts.
• Conduct preventative maintenance, oversee equipment upgrades, and manage spare parts inventory.
• Utilize computer hardware and software, including MS Office and specialized MHE software, for system setup and diagnostics.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards.
• Diagnose system errors, perform routine maintenance, and support continuous warehouse productivity.

• Diagnose system errors, perform routine maintenance, and support continuous warehouse productivity.

Qualifications & Skills
