Job summary

LS Solutions in Indiana is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to develop and execute preventative maintenance plans for distribution center equipment and material handling systems. You will diagnose issues, oversee upgrades, and manage spare parts through CMMS, coordinating with vendors and leadership to improve uptime.

The role requires hands-on supervision of Maintenance Support Specialists, strong organizational skills, and flexibility to cover nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• BS or technical training in a relevant field.
• 2–4 years of progressive maintenance experience with electrical background preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial mechanical/electrical systems and CAD interpretation.
• Strong planning, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to train staff and assess safety conditions.

• Overseeing system modifications, upgrades, and efficiency assessments of material handling equipment.
• Managing spare parts inventory within a CMMS system.
• Coordinating with management and external vendors for repairs and system improvements.
• Leading and supervising Maintenance Support Specialists and fostering team development.
• Working flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, and responding to downtime events.

Qualifications Include

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Facilities/Plant Management, or related technical training; experience may substitute education.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive maintenance experience, with a strong electrical background preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial mechanical/electrical systems, troubleshooting automated systems, and CAD interpretation.
• Skills in project management, organization, communication, and problem-solving.
• Ability to operate independently, train staff, and assess safety conditions.

Additional skills: Metalworking, energy conservation, and familiarity with building automation systems are advantageous.
