Rolls-Royce is seeking a Control System Verification Engineer to join our growing team in Indianapolis, IN. This role offers the chance to work on flagship programs, tackling complex technological challenges within a global, multidisciplinary environment.

Job Description
  • Support delivery of control systems integration, software, and airborne electronic hardware for Defence customers.
  • Ensure technical deliverables meet standards and quality expectations.
  • Collaborate with a global engineering community to share best practices.
  • Travel up to 10% to support program activities.

Responsibilities
  • Develop electrical, electronic, and mechatronic control system requirements, design, and verification work products for safety-critical applications.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to uphold high standards of technical capability and professionalism.
  • Provide engineering guidance, training, and documentation support.
  • Review engineering work products for quality and completeness.
  • Resolve complex technical problems and communicate ideas effectively.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering) with 1+ years of experience, or higher degrees as specified.
  • Experience with requirements management.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years verification and testing experience.
  • Experience with military or FAA certification, control system design tools, and model-based systems (MATLAB, Simulink).
  • Knowledge of systems engineering and SysML modeling software.
