Job summary

GrayMatter in Omaha, NE is seeking a qualified Controls Engineer with 1+ years of experience in control systems, SCADA Ignition, and industrial automation. You will design, develop, and implement solutions, lead integration across mechanical, electrical, and control systems, and help validate commissioning procedures.

Travel up to 50% may be required; a Bachelor's in EE/EET/ME/MET or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an applicable field (EE, EET, ME, MET or comparable).
• 1+ years of experience with SCADA Ignition and control systems.
• Experience with electrical schematics, power distribution, and cooling systems.
• Strong problem solving, attention to detail and customer service attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform GrayMatter services to meet client needs, focusing on control systems in data center, power, and manufacturing industries.
• Design, develop and implement solutions to achieve project goals.
• Lead integration between mechanical, electrical, and controls systems for seamless operation.
• Lead commissioning procedures, test scripts, and documentation validation.
• Consult with and train end users on new applications.
• Assist in project development and planning.
• Position may require up to 50% travel locally.
