Job summary

GrayMatter is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join the Building Automation Services team in Tulsa, OK. The role focuses on managing specialized work with precision and reliability, coordinating mechanical, electrical, and controls systems for seamless operations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in a related field and 1+ years of experience in SCADA Ignition and control systems, with strong attention to detail and a dedication to timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in an applicable field (EE, EET, ME, MET or comparable).
• 1+ years of relevant experience with SCADA Ignition, control systems design, and industrial programming languages.
• Experience with electrical schematics, power distribution, and water/cooling systems.
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving, and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform GrayMatter services to meet client needs, focusing on control systems common in datacenter, power generation, and advanced manufacturing industries.
• Design, develop and implement solutions to achieve project goals.
• Lead integration between mechanical, electrical, and controls systems for seamless operation across platforms.
• Lead commissioning procedures, test scripts, and documentation validation.
• Consult with and train end users on new applications.
• Assist in project development and planning.
• Travel up to 50% of the year; local position.
