Job summary

GrayMatter is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join our Building Automation Services team. You will manage specialized work with a focus on data center, power generation, and advanced manufacturing controls.

This role requires meticulous attention to detail and a disciplined approach, with travel up to half of the year. Responsibilities include designing and implementing control solutions, coordinating cross-discipline teams, and developing commissioning procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in EE, EET, ME, MET or equivalent.
• 4+ years of relevant working experience as a Control Systems Engineer.
• Experience with PLC programming and SCADA systems.
• Experience with electrical schematics and power distribution.

Responsibilities

• Perform GrayMatter services focusing on Control Systems in data center, power generation, and advanced manufacturing.
• Design, develop and implement solutions to meet project goals.
• Lead integration between mechanical, electrical, and controls systems for seamless operation.
• Lead commissioning procedures, test scripts, and documentation validation.
• Consult with and train end users on new applications.
• Assist in project development and planning.
• Travel up to 50% as needed.
