Job summary

Chelan County Public Utility District #1 seeks a Control Systems Engineer to design, develop, and optimize OT solutions for SCADA-driven operations. The role involves implementing robust cybersecurity measures and supporting critical utility functions across generation, transmission, and distribution systems.

Candidates should have a relevant engineering degree, WA driver’s license, and familiarity with NERC standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Systems/Industrial Engineering or related field; master’s preferred.
Valid driver’s license at hire and WA license within 30 days.
Background screening per NERC standards.
Experience with SCADA and OT cybersecurity is desirable.

Responsibilities

Design and develop an OT environment, including networking and software for real-time SCADA systems.
Implement cybersecurity measures aligned with NERC standards.
Develop and maintain computer-based systems supporting multiple utility functions.
Lead and support SCADA design, reliability, and cybersecurity projects.
