Job summary

We are seeking a Control Systems Engineer at Tidal Vision to design and deliver high-quality control panels, troubleshoot and resolve control systems, and drive continuous improvement across operations. The role requires extensive PLC programming expertise and collaboration with manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on PLC and HMI programming experience.
• Ability to read and modify electrical schematics.
• Experience designing control systems for high-voltage (480V) applications.
• Strong knowledge of EtherNet/IP, Modbus, and other industrial protocols.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel to various work locations.

Responsibilities

• PLC Programming: Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs for various control systems.
• HMI Design: Create and configure HMIs to meet operator requirements.
• Control System Design: Design control panels, wire-ways, and conduit runs for 600VAC or less.
• System Integration: Lead projects from design to implementation.
• Electrical Drawings: Create and update CAD drawings for control panels.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues in existing control systems.
• Travel: 25%–50% travel as needed.
