Job summary
Mitsubishi Power is seeking a Control Systems Engineer II to support the development, testing, and field deployment of control systems for large frame gas turbines and related plant systems in the Americas. The role emphasizes collaboration with design, operations, and project teams to meet safety and performance standards.
The position covers configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and customer training, with travel expected to client sites.
Qualifications
- BS in Engineering and at least 3 years related experience or equivalent in control disciplines (APC, DCS, PLC, OPC/Modbus, SCADA).
- Experience with industrial networking (TCP/IP, subnets, switches, firewalls) and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with DCS platforms and control logic development.
Responsibilities
- Support development and review of control system designs and assist in configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of control systems.
- Provide on-site or remote technical support and customer training.
- Perform FAT/SAT support and assist with commissioning, start-up, and root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with design engineers, operations, and project management to ensure project execution within schedule and safety standards.
