Job summary

E-Logic, Inc. seeks a Senior Control Systems Engineer to lead development, testing, integration, and lifecycle support of shipboard Machinery Control Systems (MCS), Damage Control (DC), and Network Systems for NSWCPD Code 513.

This Key Personnel position reports to the Prime Contractor for HR and receives direction from the Government TPOC/COR. Requires BS in Engineering, IAT-2 within 6 months, 10 years in control systems, and PLC expertise with Rockwell and Siemens; 92% onsite at NSWCPD

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering is required.
• IAT-2 certification within 6 months of award (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP).
• 10 yrs of control systems engineering experience; 7 yrs PLC experience with Rockwell + Siemens; 7 yrs troubleshooting PLC-based systems; 5 yrs lead engineer; 3 yrs SCDs or equivalent.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, SNMP, Modbus, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, ControlNet, DeviceNet; GIT, DOORS, SharePoint, Subversion.
• U.S. Citizenship and Secret clearance eligibility.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Lead development/modification of PLC code (Rockwell Studio 5000; Siemens STEP 7 or TIA Portal).
• Develop/modify HMI and interfaces; code in C++, C#, Java, LabVIEW, MATLAB, Python, Visual Basic.
• Design/implement test tools (Sim/Stim, Emulators, Message Pumps).
• Troubleshoot PLC-based machinery control systems; create SCDs/ECPs.
• Provide shipboard/remote troubleshooting; perform software loads on Windows/Linux, PLC processors, firmware.
• Support EQT, RMF, DISA STIGs, and IA accreditation efforts.

Position Overview

Seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to lead the development, testing, integration, and lifecycle support of shipboard Machinery Control Systems (MCS), Damage Control (DC), and Network Systems for NSWCPD Code 513, supporting CVN68, CVN78, Columbia, FF(X), Amphibious, FMS, and USCG platforms.

This is a Key Personnel position. Reports to Prime Contractor for HR/administrative matters; receives work direction from Government TPOC/COR.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development/modification of PLC code (Rockwell ControlLogix Studio 5000; Siemens SIMATIC Step 7 or TIA Portal)
• Develop/modify HMI and machine-to-machine interfaces; code in C++, C#, Java, LabView, MATLAB, Python, Visual Basic
