Job summary

Control Assemblies is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join our Plymouth, MN team. You will assist with electrical control panel designs and BOMs, learning NEC and UL standards while contributing to design and commissioning of automation solutions.

You will develop schematics, 3D panel layouts in EPLAN, and basic PLC/HMI/SCADA applications under senior guidance, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma in Electrical Technology or related field.
• Experience with electrical control panel designs, schematics, and BOMs is preferred.
• Familiarity with NEC and UL standards a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical control panel designs, schematics, panel layouts, and BOMs while learning company, NEC, and UL standards.
• Develop electrical schematics and 3D panel layouts using EPLAN Pro Panel; design custom control panels for performance and manufacturability.
• Develop and test basic PLC and HMI/SCADA applications under guidance from the engineering team.
• Support projects by helping select industrial control hardware and aiding shop testing, startup, and commissioning.
