Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer in St. Joe, IN to design, program, integrate, and commission new automated manufacturing lines.

You will develop PLC programs (Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, Studio 5000), build interlocks, alarms, AOIs, UDTs, and create reusable control logic. You will also develop Ignition HMI/SCADA apps and integrate PLCs with motors, servo systems, robotics, and vision systems.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of controls or industrial automation experience preferred.
  • Strong hands-on PLC programming experience with Allen-Bradley Rockwell.
  • Proficient in Studio 5000 / ControlLogix programming.
  • Experience developing Ignition HMI/SCADA applications.

Responsibilities

  • Write and develop PLC programs for new automated production equipment.
  • Develop machine sequences, interlocks, alarms, AOIs, UDTs, and reusable controls code.
  • Develop and integrate Ignition HMI/SCADA applications.
  • Integrate PLCs with VFDs, motors, servo/motion, robotics, and vision systems.
  • Review controls architecture, electrical designs, and industrial networks.
  • Support FAT, commissioning, and startup activities.
  • Collaborate with OEMs and system integrators to deliver greenfield lines.
