Job summary

MSI Express, INC is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer in Saint Charles, IL for a full-time, in-person role. The position offers a competitive salary of $100,000.00–$140,000.00 per year and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401K matching, and bonus eligibility.

The role leads design, implementation, and optimization of industrial automation, PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and SCADA. You will mentor engineers, manage complex projects, and drive technology innovations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in advanced controls engineering roles in manufacturing environments.
• Expert knowledge of advanced control system design principles and industrial automation technologies.
• Excellent programming skills for PLCs, HMIs, and robotics systems.
• Proven ability to lead complex engineering projects with a track record of innovation.
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and team leadership skills.
• Experience with Allen Bradley control systems and process controls/SCADA.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software.

This role entails overseeing complex and critical industrial automation projects, including advanced PLCs, HMIs, robotics, motion control systems, and comprehensive process and discrete manufacturing environments.
