Job summary

JCW is seeking a Control Systems Electrical Engineer in Seattle to design electrical and control systems for transit, rail, aviation, and water/wastewater clients. The role covers low-voltage, lighting, communications, building controls, and fire protection.

You will guide projects from BIM modeling through commissioning, testing, and construction support, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5–10 years of professional experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify electrical and control systems for transit, rail, aviation and water/wastewater clients, covering low-voltage, communications, lighting, security, building controls and fire protection.
• Help take projects from Revit/BIM modeling through commissioning, testing and construction support.
• Coordinate with engineers in other disciplines and at partner firms to deliver integrated systems, and coach and develop junior team members.
