Job summary

PTS Advance is seeking temporary Control Systems Designers to join our teams across several sites in the US. The role focuses on designing instrumentation and control systems, developing construction packages, and supporting project engineering tasks with close collaboration alongside Control Systems Engineers.

The ideal candidate will have 1–10 years in control systems, solid AutoCAD drafting skills, familiarity with 3D design basics, and be willing to travel to remote work sites for project

Qualifications

• Experience: 1-10 years in Control Systems
• Technical skills: AutoCAD proficiency, drafting expertise, basic 3D design knowledge
• Education: AutoCAD Level 1 & 2 Certificates OR 1-3 years I&C design experience
• Communication: Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Physical: Industrial facility work capability, ladder climbing, PPE compliance
• Microsoft Office mastery
• Team collaboration in diverse environments
• Travel willingness for remote work sites
• Self-driven work ethic with attention to detail
• A.A.S. or higher in engineering or related discipline
• INtools (SPI) experience
• Hands-on experience with Revit software is highly desirable
• Electrical design background
• Industrial facility maintenance/projects experience
• Small project construction package development ($0-1MM TIC)

Responsibilities

• Design partnership with Control Systems Engineers to develop instrumentation and control system designs
• Technical development: create block diagrams, location plans, wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and equipment layouts
• Quality execution: perform quality checks and ensure compliance with codes, standards, and drawing requirements
