Lofton Security Service, Inc. is seeking a Control Room Operator I to monitor and control plant operations via DCS/HMI interfaces. You will respond to alarms, track process trends, and communicate with field operators and supervision to maintain safe conditions.

The role requires strong documentation, communication, and safety mindset, with training and certifications completed as needed to ensure compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with control room operations or process monitoring is preferred.
• Proficiency in interpreting DCS/HMI interfaces and process data.
• Ability to document operational activities accurately and timely.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are required.
• willingness to complete required training and certifications

Responsabilités

• Monitor and operate plant systems using DCS/HMI interfaces.
• Track process trends, alarms, production rates, and equipment status.
• Maintain safe, stable process conditions within operating limits.
• Respond to alarms and abnormal conditions and coordinate with supervision.
• Coordinate equipment checks, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
• Record production, logs, and shift reports accurately.
• Perform thorough shift handoffs and communicate priorities.
• Support emergency procedures and safety meetings.
