Job summary

NAES Corporation seeks a Control Room Operator at the Dogwood Energy Facility near Pleasant Hill, MO. The CRO will monitor and operate a 625 MW natural gas combined-cycle plant, respond to alarms, and ensure safe, reliable generation to support grid requirements.

The role requires extensive power plant operations experience, commitment to safety, and strong shift coordination. Compensation includes a base rate of $45–$55 per hour and potential annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in power plant operations and control room responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to supervise staff and coordinate shift teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up, operation, and shutdown of plant equipment per safety standards.
• Monitor plant systems and alarms to assure safe, reliable generation.
• Maintain logs and records including output, emissions, and fuel usage.
• Support training of staff and conduct effective shift handovers.
• Coordinate troubleshooting and work requests during outages and normal operations.
