Tazewell County Sheriff's Office is seeking a Control Room Operator for full-time 3rd shift at the Justice Center. The role operates the control room 24/7, monitors security systems, staff and detainee movement, and ensures safety and security.
This position requires vigilance, ability to work on short notice, and collaboration with Jail Clerks, Correctional Officers, and Supervisors. It is a position of trust with responsibility for monitoring and responding to security events.

Appointed by the Sheriff and under the direct supervision of the Jail Operation Supervisors and the Jail Superintendent. This position performs tasks both routine and semi-routine involving the operation of the Control Room in the Tazewell County Justice Center.
This is a 24 hour, 7 day per week operation that requires coverage on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift, along with weekends and holidays.
This is a position of trust and responsibility. This position is directly responsible for monitoring officer safety and the security of the facility.
