Job summary

Entergy's New Orleans fossil power plant seeks an experienced Control Room Operations Team Leader to oversee a cross-functional team responsible for safe, reliable operation. You will plan staffing, coordinate unit tests and outages, and champion safety and continuous improvement across plant operations and maintenance.

Leading direct reports, you will drive performance metrics, manage budgets, and collaborate with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure optimal plant

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 5+ yrs power plant ops/maintenance with technical degree.
• With bachelor’s degree: 5+ yrs experience; without degree: 10+ yrs.
• Strong knowledge of power plant operating and maintenance practices; safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises a cross-functional operations team at a fossil plant.
• Plans staffing, schedules shifts, and manages budgets and safety programs.
• Leads continuous improvement and performance reviews of direct reports.
• Liaises with vendors, OEMs, and contractors to improve site performance.
• Oversees alarm management, procedures, and training programs.
