The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. in Salt Lake City, Utah seeks an Associate, Control Room to monitor material non-public information and uphold information barriers across private and public sides of the firm.

You will analyze the impact of active deals on tradable instruments, maintain logs and notes in internal databases, and review research drafts and transactions for compliance with Firm policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or related field with 1 year of experience in the role or related field.
• Bachelor's degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or related field with 3 years of experience in the role or related field.
• Experience must include working with the business side for policy compliance, applying risk management to trading risk, responding to regulators, and managing conflicts of interest.

Responsabilités

• Maintain the integrity of information barriers by monitoring receipt and possession of material non-public information across private and public sides of the Firm.
• Analyze the material impact of active deals on tradable financial instruments using financial calculations and company strategies.
• Maintain logs/notes of active deals in internal Firm databases and review transactions for compliance with policies.
