Job summary

Bitdeer Technologies Group is seeking an experienced backend engineer to help build the control plane for a global multi-region GPU cloud platform. You will own tenant management, quota, metering, billing, RBAC, and the self-service portal and API.

Work across regional and global boundaries to ensure consistency, automate onboarding, and improve delivery stability. You will collaborate with Compute and other teams to optimize region-aware scheduling.

Qualifications

• 3+ years (Senior 6+) building backend services / control planes / web platforms.
• Strong backend engineering (Go / Java / Python), API design, and distributed systems.
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS / cloud control planes; billing / quota systems a strong plus.
• Frontend / console (React / Vue) for full-stack contributors (a subset of the HC).
• Knowledge of RBAC, auth (OAuth / OIDC), and audit.
• Multi-region / distributed-consistency experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and build control-plane services: tenant management, quota, metering, billing, and RBAC.
• Architect global vs. regional control-plane split and cross-region consistency.
• Build self-service onboarding and automation to reduce delivery steps.
• Ensure billing / metering correctness and auditability.
• Develop tooling for detection, isolation, and recovery to improve stability.
• Collaborate with Compute for region-aware scheduling and placement.
