Job summary

Valar Atomics Inc. is hiring a Control Panel Builder to assemble, wire, and finish industrial control panels in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will read schematics, interpret drawings, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail and hands-on shop work. The position involves working with power distribution, PLC I/O, VFDs, and other control components, with emphasis on tape labeling, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to assemble and wire industrial control panels per codes.
• Experience with UL 508A, NEC and related standards.
• 1+ years in panel building or wiring; 3+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layout drawings
• Use hand tools, power tools, crimpers, torque tools, label printers/engravers, and multimeters safely and properly
• Mechanically assemble control panel enclosures, backplates, DIN rail components, wire duct, and devices
• Wire control panels including: Power distribution, Control circuits, PLC I/O wiring, VFDs, motor starters, relays, terminal blocks
• Torque electrical terminations to specified values and document as required
• Perform continuity checks and basic electrical verification prior to testing
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and workmanship inside enclosures
• Build panels in accordance with UL 508A, NEC, project specifications, and quality procedures
