Job summary

Gorbel is seeking an Electrical Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team in the United States. The role involves assembling control panels from stock electrical and mechanical components to meet specific job instructions, with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include testing electrified components, ordering tooling as needed, and debugging electrical issues. The position requires basic computer skills and the ability to read blueprints and tape measures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass truck and crane certification with training on hire.
• Computer knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and other programs.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to read a blueprint.
• Ability to use hand tools with dexterity.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Build or assemble non-electrified and electrified components per job instructions.
• Test and initial electrified components for function.
• Submit requests for replacement tooling or supplies.
• Debug and troubleshoot electrical problems.
• Complete inventory cycles as needed.
• Ensure all documents are filled out completely.
• All other duties as assigned by management.
