Job summary

Gorbel, Inc. is seeking an Electrical/Mechanical Assembler to assemble control panels, including electrified and non-electrified components, per job instructions.

This role operates with minimal supervision and collaborates with Technicians or Engineering when needed. The essential candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to pass truck and crane certification on hire, and be proficient with Windows, Word, and Excel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass truck and crane certification with training upon hire.
• Computer knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and other computer programs.
• Ability to read tape measure.
• Ability to read a blue print.
• Ability to use hand tools requiring dexterity.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with factory supervision.

Responsibilities

• Build or assemble non-electrified and electrified components by following the specified directions from the job paperwork.
• Test and initial electrified components for function.
• Submit requests for replacement tooling or supplies.
• Debug and troubleshoot electrical problems.
• Complete inventory cycle counts as needed.
• Ensure all documents are filled out completely.
• All other duties as assigned by management.
