Job Summary
Panelmatic Inc. is seeking a Fabrication and Assembly Technician for first shift production. The Technician will follow shop drawings to drill, cut, grind, assemble, and install devices onto control panels according to shop standards.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings
- Layout device locations on stainless and mild steel enclosures
- Use plasma cutter, jig saw, grinder, drills, and hole saws to make cutouts for devices
- Use hand and power tools to layout, measure, drill, and tap steel plates
- Install din rail, wire duct, equipment, terminal blocks, and nameplates
- Ensure project quality is within the specification
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Perform tasks within quoted hours for each project
- Perform additional duties as needed to ensure the project schedule and timeline are met
- Customer site work as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One year or more of experience in metal working tools required
- High levels of organizational and time management skills required
- High levels of analytical, observational, and active listening skills required
- High levels of reliability required
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal required
- US work authorization without sponsorship required
- Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check required
- Ability to physically push, pull, and lift 50lbs or more required
- Ability to stoop and bend required
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for four plus hours at a time required
- Excellent manual dexterity required
