• Experience with PLCs, industrial automation and electrical troubleshooting.
• Background in heavy industry, chemical processing, petrochemicals or cokemaking.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and troubleshoot PLC and DCS control systems.
• Support electrical and instrumentation maintenance teams.
• Improve control schemes, equipment reliability and plant efficiency.
• Support system upgrades, automation projects and preventative maintenance.
• Work closely with engineering and operations teams to resolve technical issues.

We’re looking for an experienced Control Engineer to join a well-established industrial energy facility in River Rouge, Michigan.

This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining, troubleshooting and improving electrical and automation systems to ensure reliable plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot PLC and DCS control systems.
• Support electrical and instrumentation maintenance teams.
• Improve control schemes, equipment reliability and plant efficiency.
• Support system upgrades, automation projects and preventative maintenance.
• Work closely with engineering and operations teams to resolve technical issues.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 4+ years’ experience, or an Associate degree with 6+ years’ experience.
• Experience with PLCs, industrial automation and electrical troubleshooting.
• Background in heavy industry, chemical processing, petrochemicals or cokemaking.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Desirable:

Allen-Bradley PLCs, DeltaV DCS, Burner Management Systems, AVEVA PI and Maximo.
