MoveATech is recruiting an experienced Contract Controls Engineer for hands-on, onsite automation assignments, covering PLC and HMI programming, machine build, power-up, debug, installation and commissioning. The projects span Florida, Texas, Pennsylvania with potential travel to Mexico for selected assignments.

We seek engineers with experience in Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens, Beckhoff, HMI development, safety, and robotics.

Responsabilidades

• Working independently while collaborating with project leads and multidisciplinary teams

MoveATech is recruiting an experienced Contract Controls Engineers for a hands‑on, onsite automation assignments. These roles cover PLC and HMI programming, machine build, power‑up, debug, installation and commissioning. The successful engineers will be matched to the assignment according to controls-platform experience, industry background, availability and travel flexibility.

Project locations include:

• Florida
• Texas
• Pennsylvania
• Potential travel to Mexico for selected assignments

We are interested in engineers with experience in the following:

• Allen-Bradley / Rockwell - ControlLogix, CompactLogix, GuardLogix and Studio 5000
• Siemens - TIA Portal, S7-1200/1500, WinCC and Profinet
• Beckhoff PLC/HMI systems, Structured Text or C#
• HMI development, industrial networks, servos, VFDs and motion control
• FANUC robotics, Cognex vision and robotic guidance
• Machine safety, safety PLCs, LOTO and safety validation
• Automotive and custom automation standards, including GM GCCS/GCCH or Ford GVOSS
• Leak testing, material handling, assembly cells and pallet conveyor systems

Typical responsibilities include:

• PLC and HMI programming, offline development and system integration
• Machine power-up, debugging, FAT, installation and commissioning
• Troubleshooting controls, robotics, safety systems, networks and peripheral equipment
• Working independently while collaborating with project leads and multidisciplinary teams
• Supporting customer sites, with overtime and travel available on some assignments

Successful candidates can be engaged on either a 1099 or W-2 basis, depending on the assignment. Projects are primarily onsite, with working hours, overtime, duration and travel requirements varying by opportunity. Applicants must already have the legal right to work in the USA and must be able to complete employment screening and a 10-panel drug screen before starting an assignment.

These are onsite contract assignments. The expected start date, initial contract duration, standard weekly hours, anticipated overtime, travel requirement and expense arrangements will be confirmed before interview.
