Job summary

Frontier-Kemper-Tutor Perini joint venture in Manhattan seeks a Senior Field Engineer to join our Hudson Tunnel Project in New York, NY. You will report to the Senior Project Engineer and coordinate with subcontractors, develop construction schedules, and monitor field work.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, 5+ years of civil construction experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management from an accredited school.
• 5+ years of civil construction experience.
• Experience on large heavy civil projects in urban settings is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety requirements and OSHA standards.
• Familiarity with CPM scheduling and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans and develop construction schedules with project-wide coordination.
• Coordinate with subcontractors on material acquisitions and pre-construction deliverables.
• Assist with quotes, draft contracts, and change order handling.
• Prepare work plans, pre-construction meetings, and prerequisite checks.
• Monitor field construction, perform layout checks, and coordinate with design engineer.
• Support subcontract administration and track material suppliers and submittals.
