Job summary

Frontier-Kemper-Tutor Perini joint venture seeks a Senior Field Engineer for the Manhattan Tunnel Project in New York, NY. You will review plans, coordinate with subcontractors, and develop schedules and work plans to ensure timely execution of a major urban heavy civil project.

Qualifications include a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree and 5+ years in large-scale civil construction, with CPM and Primavera P6 expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of civil construction experience.
• Experience on large heavy civil infrastructure projects in dense urban settings a plus.
• Knowledge of construction safety and current federal & OSHA requirements.
• Project controls techniques (cost accounting, basic estimating, forecasting, contracts).
• Strong working knowledge of CPM and resource scheduling.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans and develop a construction schedule in coordination with project-wide activities.
• Coordinate with subcontractors on advanced material acquisitions and pre-construction deliverables.
• Develop and assist with obtaining quotes and draft contracts to meet project requirements.
• Prepare construction work plan packages and coordinate pre-construction meetings.
• Prepare, update, and distribute work activity schedules and communicate across discipline groups.
• Monitor and participate daily in field construction process and provide layout checks.
