Job description

LOCATION:

Remote - This is a home-based, virtual position operating within the hours of 8:30am-5:00pm Eastern Standard Time (EST). Vaya Health welcomes applications from NC, SC, GA, TN, VA, MD, and FL.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB

Vaya Health manages Medicaid and other publicly funded healthcare services in a multi-county area in North Carolina. The Contracts Team within the Legal Department oversees vendor management, including contracting. This position reports to a Contracts Manager.

The role involves managing provider and vendor contracts, working with departments like ISD, Finance, and Provider Network Operations. Responsibilities include developing contract templates, managing the contract lifecycle, data integrity, and communication with vendors and providers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  1. Contracts and Vendor Management Lifecycle Support:
  2. Manage email inboxes, support system setup, and assist with contract requests and approvals in the CLM platform.
  3. Prepare agreements, track approvals, and distribute contracts.
  4. Organize and archive contracts, maintain data accuracy, and support reporting and presentations.
  5. Coordinate meetings and ensure data integrity through audits.
  6. Assist with template management and vendor onboarding.
  7. Monitor contractual requirements and performance indicators.
  8. Special Projects:
  9. Participate in projects to improve management activities and data integrity.
  10. Other Duties:
  11. Perform other activities as needed, which may change over time.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & ABILITIES
  • Experience with or ability to learn vendor lifecycle management software.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail, data management, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and DocuSign.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field and at least 3 years of experience in procurement, contracting, or business operations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Visual acuity, physical activity including walking and sitting, and ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
  • Requires mental concentration.
RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT:

Must reside in NC, SC, GA, TN, VA, MD, or FL.

SALARY:

Based on qualifications and experience. Non-exempt position eligible for overtime.
