The Nature Conservancy seeks a Contract Specialist to serve as the primary contracts resource for the Western US and Canada Division. You will partner with Legal, Finance, Grants, and Program Managers to manage contract development, review, and compliance across assigned areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3 years' related experience or equivalent combination.
• TNC Certified Contract Specialist (CCS) certification or ability to obtain within established timeframes.
• Experience developing or administering contracts, agreements, amendments, or related business documents.
• Non-profit experience in a similar role/capacity preferred.
• Ability to interpret and apply established policies, procedures, and requirements.
• Experience building productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders including project managers, legal and HR.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary contracts resource for assigned Pods, BUs, and Division Priorities.
• Manage intake, due diligence, agreement development, and contract closeout activities.
• Monitor agreement status, deliverables, obligations, and compliance requirements.
• Support contract execution and implementation activities.
• Provide guidance on contract procedures, templates, documentation, approval pathways, and requirements.
