Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company seeks a Contracts Specialist to prepare, review, and standardize routine downstream contracts and related documents, and help plan policies related to contract administration. This role will administer subcontracts and other downstream agreements in support of the company’s strategy and values.

The position involves coordinating with project teams, assisting counsel on insurance and compliance issues, and supporting training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (Preferred).
• 2+ years contract management experience (Required).
• Construction industry experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Reviews and administers routine downstream contracts and related documents.
• Reviews COI for compliance and resolves discrepancies.
• Coordinates with Project Coordinators/Managers to confirm subcontractor compliance.
• Assists in planning and implementing contract administration policies.
• Assists counsel on subcontractor and supplier compliance issues including insurance.
• Develops project-specific subcontract templates for review by counsel.
• Maintains downstream riders for select subcontractors and suppliers.
