City of Chicago seeks a Contracts Review Specialist II to join the IT Planning team in the Department of Technology and Innovation. You will coordinate purchasing functions and review bids, proposals, and contracts for accuracy, compliance, and proper terms.
Two years of contract-review experience or an Associate's degree with one year of related work are required. Working hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with some flexibility. Starting salary is $68,616 with city benefits.

These positions are open to the general public and to all current city employees covered under the terms of the City's collective bargaining agreement with the AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES (AFSCME) - (BARGAINING UNIT #01, 03, 04, 05)
Only employees in City job titles in this bargaining unit are eligible to bid.

THIS POSITION IS IN THE CAREER SERVICE
Two (2) years of work experience in reviewing contract documents for the procurement of materials, supplies or services.
OR
Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate's degree or higher, plus one (1) year of work experience in reviewing contract documents for the procurement of materials, supplies or services.
