The Assistant Director of Payment Processing is a Leadership role that is responsible for providing oversight and administration of the Department of Finance's Payment Center Program. This position oversees the management of 77 personnel, that consists of 46 City employees and 31 contract staff, operating across 11 different locations; several of which provide 24/7 services.
This role will manage multiple supervisory positions and have a direct impact on technology initiatives, reconciliation of monies, banking service relationships as well as contract management. In addition, manage cross-divisional initiatives within the City; and perform related duties as required.

This position requires a deep understanding of Point-of-Sale systems, including ACH processing, Credit Card processing, Payment Gateways, Digital Wallets, Fraud Prevention, Data Analytics, PCI compliance, advanced excel, intermediary Tableau, reconciliation, SOP development, Program/Project Management, Accounting and Operations Management knowledge.
